Our tomato plants have finally taken off, and our blackberries (in containers) are putting out a few berries.

Our tomato plants have finally taken off, and our blackberries (in containers) are putting out a few berries.

We had two homegrown tomatoes this evening - so good! In this garden we've learned to let them turn light orange on the vine, then get them in the house to finish ripening. Otherwise the tree rats get them. I hope your tomatoes are coming soon!

We've had two ripe tomatoes so far, a couple of weeks ago. I noticed some very scary looking orange bugs all over the tomatoes yesterday- not sure what to do with those.
